For those who actually purchased HP TouchPad at a severely discounted price should find this update useful. The TouchPad feels zippier and now it would pair with non-webOS smartphone through Bluetooth.

The $499 Question: HP TouchPad June 20, 2011
Posted by very in : Resources, Tech , add a commentHP TouchPad is now available for pre-order through Amazon and HP.
I have been wanting to get a new webOS device and HP TouchPad could be the next one I’d get. Having used iOS and Android on other tablet computing devices I crave for more. Yes there are the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Apple iPad 2, Motorola Xoom and some other tablets. I like webOS in the original Palm Pre and am waiting for Pre 3.
I am asking myself if I shuld pre-order the HP TouchPad.

Palm is up for sale, by Palm. April 11, 2010
Posted by very in : Announcement, Media, News, Resources, Tech , add a commentBeing on the road with limited Internet connection is a bit tough. I do have Internet on the iPhone 3GS and the Nexus One, but they can not fully powered my Internet lust on my MacBook Pro. If only I have a cell phone that can act as a wireless access point. Yes the one like Palm Pre Plus on Verizon Wireless network. OK, based on a few people who actually have Palm Pre Plus, the Wi-Fi Access Point feature is still unreliable. I cannot personally say if that is or is not the case. I am using NetShare on an iPhone 3GS with OS 4.0 beta. Unfortunately there are still about of bugs on this beta release. NetShare crashes every other minute or so. Other App also crashes a lot such as Gowalla and Apple’s own MobileMe Gallery. It would be really handy to have the Wi-Fi Access Point jus like the Palm Pre Plus.
Speaking of which, I found out gem John Grubber that Palm has put itself up for sale.
I can not say I’m surprised about this. Palm has been struggling since the day Palm Pre was first announced. Great ideas sometimes are not timely executed.
We’ll see what would happen next.
