The record breaking quarter for fiscal 2012 first quarter might have something to do with it. Apple is expected to release the third generation of iPad before the first half of 2012, then followed by the sixth generation of iPhone. On the rumor mill, Apple is supposedly working on a television set. Apple will still be busy in 2012.

Apple has one interesting product transition that might see the light of day in 2012. Apple has been quietly working on this product for the last six years since the transition to x86 platform. Just like many, it was a skunkworks project that now seems to make sense. We all have to wait and see.

I received the CD, yes CD, one day after it hit the streets, and one day earlier than what Amazon.com promised. All is good. I immediately imported the CD into iTunes; synched to iTunes Match, Google Music and Amazon Cloud Drive. Best of both worlds, having the physical CD and in the cloud.

Anyway, I listen to the CD and I generally love it. To me it is almost like a follow up to 1984. Wolfie definitely inherits his family musical talents. I’m going to listen to A Different Kind Of Truth a few more times today.

Path‘s response: We are sorry

We made a mistake. Over the last couple of days users brought to light an issue concerning how we handle your personal information on Path, specifically the transmission and storage of your phone contacts.

In Path 2.0.6, released to the App Store today, you are prompted to opt in or out of sharing your phone’s contacts with our servers in order to find your friends and family on Path. If you accept and later decide you would like to revoke this access, please send an email to service@path.com and we will promptly see to it that your contact information is removed.

Path iOS App version 2.0.6 now warns users before uploading the content of Address Book.

That’s a proper response from Path.
