That’s Futurama Volume 6 DVD in the picture. I wonder if the Blu-ray version is worth geting.

One thing that cheers me up right now is knowing someone took the time making a paper Bender and left it at the office. Working late at the office replacing a broken power supply off a server. In addition to that I just sanitized a site that was compromised.

Van Halen: A Different Kind Of Truth February 8, 2012
Posted by very in : Entertainment, Music, News, Tech , add a commentA Different Kind Of Truth, the latest full length studio recording from Van Halen with David Lee Roth 28 years after 1984 (the title and the release year of the album). Gone is Michael Anthony, replaced by a Van Halen, Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen’s son on Bass duty. So that’s 3 Van Halens (Alex, Eddie and Wolfie) and David Lee Roth. Consider this Van Halen IV.
I received the CD, yes CD, one day after it hit the streets, and one day earlier than what Amazon.com promised. All is good. I immediately imported the CD into iTunes; synched to iTunes Match, Google Music and Amazon Cloud Drive. Best of both worlds, having the physical CD and in the cloud.
Anyway, I listen to the CD and I generally love it. To me it is almost like a follow up to 1984. Wolfie definitely inherits his family musical talents. I’m going to listen to A Different Kind Of Truth a few more times today.

Stories from the past: Damage Inc. Tour February 5, 2012
Posted by very in : Entertainment, Music , add a commentA friend of mine and I were sharing stories and one in particular came up. It was Metallica’s Damage Inc. Tour back in 1986 opening for Ozzy Osbourne. That was the last tour Cliff Burton was on before tragically killed in bus accident on September 27th, 2986.
My friend still has the ticket stub from the show from June 14th, 1986 at Long Beach Arena. For a lot of people Metallica was the reason they went to the show.
