“Bender is back and is the greatest!”
OK, Futurama is finally back on the air, flying on the air in Planet Express Ship. The last Futurama episode titled “The Devil’s Hands are Idle Playthings” premiered in August 10, 2003 on Fox Network. As a matter of fact, the show was actually cancelled one season before the then final episode aired. After four long space years of waiting, Futurama can once again rejoice. The space adventure of Planet Express Crews continue in “Futurama: Bender’s Big Score”, a direct to DVD full length feature film. Fans will be treated to a total of 90 minutes of all the familiar character, jokes and Bender (the greatest). Well, that includes the ending credit.
The quality of the writings, the graphics, the music, and the voice acting are consistent with the series, as if they have never left. Longtime fans will pick up on many references to moments from previous episodes. New fans of the show will also enjoy the twisted and yet geeky sense of humor that has become the staple of the show.
Many characters from the show are making appearances, albeit lots of them have only a few seconds of screen time. In addition to that, cameo appearances of characters from real life and other shows are also making appearances; South Park’s Cartman and Family Guy are in this movie.
There’s no need to wait or look for some “free” download of this movie on the internet. Get the DVD, because it’s worth every space penny you spend. The DVD is packed with extras, extras, and HypnoToad.

The crazy part is that I know that I’ll be picking it up at the local Target or Circuit City store. I despise “Best” Buy, and have no plan to spend my money there. OK, I’ll buy the DVD from Best Buy if they would give me a life-size Bender statue.

Upon reading my web-access log, I found out that the soon to be released “Futurama The Movie – Bender’s Big Score” is now available for viewing on the internet. I don’t know if this is official, I’ll find out soon.
Apparently, the stream itself is coming from a legitimate source, but I am not sure if the “leak” is officially sanctioned.
But honestly, if you’re a fan of Futurama, BUY THE DVD!!!!!
