Defective MacBook Pro MagSafe Connector
The MacBook Pro was no longer charging because one of the pin in the MagSafe connector was somehow pushed in.

Hi
I had the same problem with my white Macbook. Somehow, dirt came in and blocked the pin!
I had to by a new charger. At first, apple support said they would pay for me. But aparently not….
You can buy the last part of the charger, for about 40$..
